I may never really say what everyone wants to hear. But this is a place where I will talk about real violence and how to survive it. Its not pretty, but neither is death. Please post comments or question to my blog.

Wake up people!
Crime is on the rise in every city and town in the US. and as long as the criminals know that the average person will not fight back, and that the local law enforcement is incapable of protecting the citizens (due to lack of officers and funding) the attacks on good social people will continue to climb.
What can you do? Well, you can take a martial arts class and hope that in the years that it takes for you to master the movements that you will be shown, you will not fall victim to a violent act. Or, you can arm yourself with a firearm, and take class after class of firearm safety and training (there are a lot of good ones out there) and then you will realize that even an untrained criminal with the mindset to hurt or kill you, will attack you and have you half dead before you will ever get your hands on that gun! Or, you can simply never leave your house again.
It has become painfully obvious to me in the year or so that I have lived in Park City Utah, that the people here live in this bubble of "it wont happen here" but when it does, they are shocked that "IT HAPPENED HERE?" I have also found out that there is a lot more crime that happens here than will EVER be let known, lest we ruin the "resort" atmosphere of this area. After all, who would want to come to an area where there are violent attacks happening? Just like every city and town in the good ole' USA.
If I was a criminal, this area would be the first place that I would hit because I know that most people still leave there windows open or doors open to get "fresh air" without the slightest thought that they are leaving themselves open to the threat of an attack.
A very wise man told me one time that when seconds count, the police are just minutes away. Think about this statement the next time you think that the police are here to "serve and protect" they simply cannot be everywhere at every time. Not when there is one officer to about every 1000 citizens. By the time the attack has finished, they will get there in time to "investigate and report" and hopefully catch the criminal that robbed, raped, beat, or killed you!
I am sorry if this is harsh or I sound a bit brutal, but I have always said that I will never sugar coat the seriousness of the attacks that happen all over this country. All you have to do is to look in the paper or online and read the sheer madness that is going on in our streets, and that it is only going to get worse! If you want to learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from this growing anomaly in our cities and towns, and take back your right to walk down the street and not be afraid of everyone who looks like a criminal, then you need to message me, respond to this post, or come out to see me and I will be happy to show you how to be a walking threat to the criminals out there. And never live in fear again.......

Did she allow herself to become a victim?
Before anyone screams at me for not sympathizing with a deranged pathetic individual, he was the animal with the "I don't care about you" attitude and the will to use it. She happened to cross paths with this man and instead of having the same mind set he had to continue the counterattack AFTER slamming the door on his legs, she stopped and gave him the chance to regain his use of violence.
Don't do the same! Learn how to use this mind set against this type of criminal and SURVIVE!

SALT LAKE CITY — A man who police say attacked a woman who had just arrived in her driveway, was arrested for investigation of attempted murder.
About 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, a 23-year-old woman had just arrived at her home, near 1900 South and 700 East. A man approached her as she was getting out of her car and said he wanted to talk to her, said Salt Lake Police Sgt. Shawn Josephson.
Instead, he punched her in the face without warning.
As the woman tried to get out of her vehicle to call 911, the man sat in the driver's seat with his legs still outside the vehicle, Josephson said. The woman then closed the door on his legs.
That prompted the man to get out of the car, punch the woman in the face again and start to strangle her, the sergeant said. Neighbors heard the woman's screams and came to her aid. Salt Lake police officers, who were nearby, were also called.
Daniel Pasca, 44, did not attempt to flee when officers arrived. He was arrested without incident and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of attempted murder. Josephson said Pasca is a transient who police have dealt with before, but never for something as serious as this.
Police do not believe the two know each other and are unsure about a motive for the crime.

It just doesn't happen the way they say in MA classes...
Athens, GA – An Athens man was arrested Saturday after police said he robbed and attempted to rape a woman.
The 27-year-old woman was walking on Hill Street when she heard footsteps behind her shortly after 2 a.m., Athens-Clarke County police spokesman Lt. Keith Morris said.
When she was near Pope Street, a man grabbed and forced her to the ground. He pointed a pistol at her and attempted to remove her clothes, Lt. Morris said.
"As the victim struggled with her assailant, other people were approaching the scene, and the suspect grabbed the victim's purse and fled," Lt. Morris said.
The woman, who suffered minor bruises, borrowed someone's cell phone and called police.
Officers broadcast the man's description and less than a minute later, an officer spotted the suspect about two blocks away.
Investigators said the man was armed with a handgun and a body search found items belonging to the woman.

We have all been here!
The Unified Police Department says around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday a man pulled up to the Smith's gas station at that location, pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded money.
The clerk said he had none. The would-be robber ordered him to get some from the main store, but the clerk called 911 instead.
A woman was filling her car with gas. The robber pulled the gun on her, demanded money, then forced her to drive to an ATM. He then forced her to drive to a cul-de-sac nearby and sexually assaulted her.
Then they drove a few blocks away, where he got out of the car, told her to drive away, and fled.
nvestigators are still looking for the man and have only a vague description of him. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask and black gloves. He's described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 pounds with a thin build.
Police are checking surveillance video for more information about him.
Police say the gas station clerk is OK. The woman was taken to a hospital.

Next time you think.....
This article was sent to me by a good friend. As you read this I want you to ask yourself, "what could I have done in this situation?"
HE GAVE MUGGERS ALL HIS POSSESSIONS BUT THEY WANTED MORE... HIS
LIFE
By Jeff Edwards, Tom Parry And Robert Stansfield, Times-Mirror
Staff
A successful young lawyer was stabbed to death by muggers just
yards from his home despite handing over all his possessions.
Tom Rhys Pryce was heard pleading with the callous thieves, "What
more do you want from me? You've got everything of value."
Seconds later the two men knifed him in the head, body and limbs
in a frenzied, ferocious and senseless attack before they fled.
The 31-year-old, who was due to marry fiancé Adele Eastman in
September, was stabbed at least a dozen times as he put up a
fierce fight for his life with his bare hands.
Investigation chief Detective Superintendent Julian Worker said:
"This is a shocking murder. It looks like a completely gratuitous
killing.
"It is clear it was a robbery. We know that he had already handed
over everything of value that was on him. We know he was telling
them he had nothing else of value. He was pleading with them and
they just produced knives and started stabbing him.
"Tom was killed just 50 yards from his front door. Adele, 31, was
in the house waiting for him to return from a work social event.
"She went outside after hearing the commotion just before
midnight on Thursday but did not see her dying fiancé who was
lying in a pool of blood.
The family was too upset to talk last night. A neighbor said:
"Tom and Adele were the picture of happiness.
"He had his whole life ahead of him but it has been so cruelly
taken from him. Everyone's devastated."
Another, Gerry Dobson, 63, added: "It's such a bloody, crying
shame. We know from firsthand experience as parents the
dedication and support that has gone into getting that young man
where he got in his profession.
"To have some idiot take that away from you, not just you, but a
whole family, friends and community, well it's dreadful.
"He was someone who had put in all that effort when you have so
many bums who go around scratching a living and don't contribute
anything to society."
Tom was attacked as he walked to his home at Bathurst Gardens in
Willesden, North West London, from nearby Kensal Green Tube
station.
He was smartly dressed in a blue shirt and tie, a grey suit and
black business shoes.
Det Supt Worker said: "This is a quiet, up and coming area of
London, and not the type of place where we would expect a murder
like this to happen." A neighbor of the couple added: "This is a
very normal and usually quiet residential street. It's
unbelievable someone should be killed in such a horrible way so
close to his home."
Police believe the murderers may have been lying in wait near
Kensal Green station looking for a victim to rob.
My heart goes out to this man's family for such a tragic loss.
It proves that most people, even hardcore police officials are not really ready to deal with this kind of violence. It also begs to ask the question, "if he gave them everything, why did they kill him?"
It goes to prove that asocial violence doesn't play by the rules that we have been taught to follow of give him what he wants and you will live. He put up a fierce fight for his life....if he would have had the mind set of injure them before they injure me, would things have turned out different?
In situations like this too many people try and stop the knife from entering the body instead of stopping the true weapon from moving the knife in the first place. Harsh? Yes! Sad? Yes! But all too true.
Don't ever let this happen to you. Learn the right way to handle situations like this before they can materialize. Join us, and learn how situations like this could be avoided.

Training schedule
I am going to start the classes at the regular times, Monday and Wednesday at 6pm, and Saturday at 1pm, but they will not be for a set time. Rates will still be 15 dollars for a day class or 100 per month for all of them. This will probably change in the future, but not yet. And I will offer private classes for 30 dollars per hour for those whose schedule doesn't fit the class times.
I understand that what I am teaching has a learning curve so I will cut the times to around an hour to an hour and a half so its not too much too soon.
Also, the venue will be held at the Park City park, near the skate park , just south of the Miner's Hospital. There is a flat open space and some shade for the hot muggy days. We will still take the training off location on times weather permitting.
For the winter time, I am still pursuing an indoor location and will inform you of the place when I have it.
Remember, I am teaching a system that is taking the rules out of contemporary self defense classes that are based in tournament rules, and showing people how to survive TRUE violence in its ugliest form, and I'm not sugar coating anything. Its better to train and be prepared and NOT need to use it, then not having it when you need it most and your life or the life of your loved ones depend on you.
See you soon.....

Equal opportunity criminal
Asocial violence does not adhere to what you and I think are good standards. If you are standing between the criminal and what they want, and you are not prepared, then you may just kiss your ass goodbye, because the asocial element will stop at NOTHING to get what it wants. And if that means killing whoever stands in its way...oh well.
And it is not territorial either. It goes where it needs to, to perfect its trade, which is taking unto him, what belongs to others, by any and all means necessary. Unless you stay inside your four walls for the rest of your life, and never go to the store, school, work, friends, or your kids functions then you can be a potential victim.
To find out how to NOT be that victim and protect your self and loved ones, come to the Park City park, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm until 8pm or Saturdays from 1pm until 3pm and take the steps needed to never live in fear again.
Until then.....
